I’m Adriane and I love to be in the kitchen. I cook and bake a lot, but bread is my thing. I’ve been baking bread for a long time, but I started my sourdough microbakery - and my Instagram account - after losing my younger brother to brain cancer in 2021. Bread has proven (no pun intended, or maybe pun intended) to help me process and grieve. Sharing my bakes with others brings me so much joy!
I live in Stillwater, Minnesota - an adorable little river town east of the Twin Cities. My house on the hill is ancient, my kitchen is green (not by choice), and there are usually Legos on the counters.
When I’m not baking, I work as a nonprofit strategic advisor, spend time with my husband and two boys, and explore local trails. I like to grow stuff in my backyard, make homemade pizza on Saturday nights, and read lots of books.
I use organic flours and source local and organic ingredients whenever possible.
